Commission- Together

This is the third and final part of my major commission of the summer. These are the horses that are the subjects of the two paintings I just submitted. I kind of had freedom to do what I wanted to, here, but I thought that the two of them in a peaceful setting would be best (it also worked best with the pictures I was given, hah).

I fought with this for a very long time. There are some things I would do differently, but overall I think it's pretty good. I've never done a watercolor this large, and starting out took a while because I was a bit scared, hah. Also, the photograph is really pissing me off on this one for some reason. I might try to retake it, because I don't know why it wouldn't catch the colors right.
